قبل از پیوستن به عنوان معاون در سال 2008 در دانشگاه ماهاریشی مارکاندشوار، مولانا آمبالا هاریانا به عنوان کمیسر شهرداری مشترک شرکت شهرداری بمبئی بزرگ (2003-2007) کار می کرد. او همچنین به عنوان رئیس دانشکده دندانپزشکی در دانشگاه بمبئی بمبئی (1999-2006) کار کرده است.[5] او به مدت 13 سال رئیس یکی از موسسات دندانپزشکی برتر کشور یعنی دانشکده دندانپزشکی بیمارستان نایر، بمبئی بود.[6]
او به عنوان سخنران مدعو، سخنران اصلی و سخنران مهمان سفرهای ملی و بین المللی داشت و به نمایندگی از هند در انجمن ها و کنفرانس های مختلف از جمله WHO، FDI، APDC/APDF حضور داشت. او رئیس کمیته علمی 112 کنگره جهانی دندانپزشکی بود که در سال 2014 در NCR دهلی نو برگزار شد.
او دریافت کننده فلوشیپ کالج سلطنتی جراحان و پزشکان، گلاسکو، کالج سلطنتی جراحان، لندن، فلوشیپ کالج سلطنتی جراحان، ادینبورگ است. عضو آکادمی مربیان پزشکی Caediff UK او همچنین عضو آکادمی ملی پزشکی است. علوم، عضو آکادمی بین المللی علوم پزشکی، عضو تحقیقات دندانپزشکی و عضو آکادمی پیر فوچارد. پروفسور دامل بازرسی های متعددی از شورای دندانپزشکی هند، کمیسیون کمک هزینه های دانشگاه انجام داد. او همچنین رئیس/عضو بازدیدهای تیم همتا از NAAC (شورای ملی ارزیابی و اعتباربخشی) بوده است.

Before joining as Vice Chancellor in 2008 at Maharishi Markandeshwar University,Mullana Ambala Haryana he worked as the Joint Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (2003-2007).[4] He has also worked as the dean, faculty of Dentistry at University of Mumbai, Bombay (1999-2006).[5] He was the Dean of one of the premier dental institutes of the country i.e. Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai for 13 years.[6]
He traveled nationally and internationally as Invited Speaker, Keynote Speaker, and Guest Speaker and represented India at various forums and conferences including WHO, FDI, APDC/APDF. He was Chairman of Scientific Committee for 112 World Dental Congress which was held at NCR New Delhi in 2014.
He is the recipient of Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow, Royal College of Surgeons, London, fellowship of royal college of surgeons, Edinburgh.Fellow of academy of Medical Educators Caediff UK He is also the Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Fellow of International Academy of Medical Sciences, Fellow of Dental Research, and Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy. Prof. Damle conducted numerous inspections of Dental council of India, University Grants Commission. He is also have been a Chairman / Member of Peer Team visits of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
